Relic 2 by Russell Leng is an 11” x 14” painting, but to me it feel enormous. The geometric objects (icebergs? crystals?) seem sort of earthy and tangible, but the way that Leng creates detail in each angle and then the way that each angle interacts with the ones around it makes each one feel powerful and mysterious.
