Detroit Lives - A documentary

Once the fourth-largest metropolis in America—some have called it the Death of the American Dream. Today, the young people of the Motor City are making it their own DIY paradise where rules are second to passion and creativity. They are creating the new Detroit on their own terms, against real adversity. We put our boots on and went exploring.

Detroit Lives is a 3-part documentary about Detroit, MI by Palladium. A city that’s truly an American icon, but one that we all sort of feel bad about.

There is a pretty standard image of the industrial city: decay, abandoned, an eye-sore, an embarrassment. But what if that was really just ‘pick-and-choose journalism’ at work? Johnny Knoxville went to the city to see what’s really happening there. And the results are incredible. via Revok.
