Ryan Hammond is a graphic designer from Chicago with a portfolio site called Sometimes New. The overall feeling, for me at least, is that one where you’re really satisfied and calmed by everything around you. There is nothing too flashy- it is peaceful but fleeting.

I get said feeling when I drive through different neighborhoods. Other people living lives just like mine, maybe. I recognize everything but it is all completely different. It’s the exact moment when I see my life up until now, and maybe even look into the years to come.

Pale colors, simple shapes and a couple curve balls thrown in to keep you in the moment. Comfortable, but not at all lazy.
