There’s a new mixtape over at The Fox Is Black put together by Moderna (of Ghostly International (an organization I really enjoy)). I didn’t recognize 9 out of the 10 artist names on the tracklist, which is always a weird/kind of exciting feeling, and I’m excited to listen to the whole thing later!

The idea of “Recommended If You Like” is so lame. Ghostly International created “Recommended If You Feel Like” so that when your mood is set and your preferences for organic/digital and speed are determined you can discover artists like Lusine.

I’m a big fan of Elizabeth Weinberg’s photography and I’m a big fan of the artistic electronic music that Ghostly International fosters (Phantogram, Com Truise, Tycho). So, them coming together is really just the best. Last year, Monocle did a write-up about the unique, wonderful thing that Ghostly has going for it and Weinberg took the perfect photos to go with it.

The images make the organization seem really sleek and hip, but also eclectic and friendly and I think that’s an accurate portrayal how their music and art feels.
