A simple but chaotic zine by Estudio Pum. Seems like it’s about fast cars from the 1970s and their drivers, with a healthy dose of fun, messy lettering on top.

Chaz Russo has a new portfolio site in the works (in his words: “Almost done. I swear.”) but, he also has a site of random/rejected projects (in his words: “A creative graveyard”) that features some really wonderful design pieces.
CRUX & Co. features plenty of great typography and textures, and then images like the one above, which I can’t stop looking at. Needless to say, I’m stoked for the launch of the main site.

Circles and circles and circles. There’s a sort of stately feel to this identity(?) created by Daniel David Kent for Ceremonious People. The circles nod to a lot of trophy/medal/laurel wreath imagery, so I probably should have tried to post this while the Olympics were still going on, but whatever. I think it’s a winner.

I can’t remember where I saw these Happy Cups first, but they’re delightful. There’s an awful lot of people who take their morning coffee way too seriously, and serving it in something like this would be a really nice way to inject some silliness and fun. The Happy Cups website is pretty great (clean design + pretty fun), too.
